MediaLab Research Group, UC3M, recently welcomed Daniela Bruno PhD, a scholar from the University of Buenos Aires, for a short research visit centred on academic exchange and collaborative exploration. During her time on campus, Bruno engaged in meaningful conversations with members of the research group, discussing shared interests, current research efforts, and opportunities for future collaboration. Her visit offered a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on pressing societal issues from both regional and global angles.

Bruno holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication, a Master's in Planning and Management of Communication Processes, and a PhD in Social Sciences. Her wide-ranging research interests include health communication, the strategic management of public policy communication with a bias for health, feminist collective action, and the role of workers' organisations in public discourse. Her visit enriched the group's ongoing work and offered new insight into potential research synergies.

She was warmly received at the UC3M Getafe campus by the research group’s director, Dan-Catalan Matamoros, who provided a campus tour and introduced her to the group's research environment. The MediaLab Research Group continues to strengthen its global academic ties through such exchanges, reinforcing its commitment to research excellence in communication in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
