Theodora Maniou

Theodora A. Maniou is an Assistant Professor in Journalism at the Department of Social & Political Sciences, University of Cyprus. She holds a PhD & a BA in Journalism (Aristotle University, Greece), and an MA in Communication’s Policy Studies (City, University of London, UK). Her area of specialization in recent years focuses on issues of journalism practice and press freedom. Prior to her academic appointment she worked as a journalist and is a member of the International Federation of Journalists and the European Federation of Journalists.
