Paula Lamoso

Paula Lamoso is a professor and researcher whose research areas are the process of configuration of international-regional organisations and the EU's supranational diplomacy: the European External Action Service (EEAS) and parliamentary diplomacy. Through her doctoral thesis she has studied the process of configuration of the EEAS in order to answer the reasons why the EU Member States accepted the creation of this supranational diplomatic body. In carrying out this research, she has focused on the process of preference formation of the EU Member States in the field of foreign policy, as well as on the main preferences of the EU's institutional actors in this political field. In addition, she has had the opportunity to be a Robert Schumann fellow in the Department of External Action, Latin America Unit. Finally, she has teaching experience at the Autonomous University of Madrid, at the University of Vigo and at the Carlos III University of Madrid. Currently, she is a professor at the Loyola University of Andalusia.
