Patrícia Nagyová

Patrícia Nagyová has been working as a full-time PhD student at the Department of Art Communication at the Faculty of Mass Media Communication of the UCM in Trnava since 2023. She completed her Bachelor's (2015-2018) and Master's (2018-2020) degree in the Media Studies programme at the Department of Communication and Media Studies of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prešov in Prešov.In her Bachelor's thesis, she investigated the means of experiential learning in the dramaturgy of television shows for children in Slovakia. She also dealt with the issue of social and cultural aspects of media production in her master thesis, which focused on the analysis of socio-cultural elements in live television broadcasts of volleyball. In her dissertation entitled "Trends, Challenges and Perspectives in Mass Media Communication - Negativism in Media Production", she researches the elements of negativism in news media texts of Slovak media, more specifically in television production and online news portals. Areas of interest: television production, online media, media language, semiotic and socio-cultural aspects of media production.
