Luciana Fazio

Luciana Fazio is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Social, Political and Cognitive Science at the University of Siena (Italy). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in History, a Master’s degree in Contemporary History from the University of Florence and a second-level Master’s degree in Big Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence for society from the University of Pisa. She also holds a PhD in Politics: History, Theory, Science from LUISS Guido Carli University. In 2018, she was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Miami- European Union Center (USA). Her research interests include strategies to counter misinformation/disinformation, contemporary international history and the relationships between Europe and Latin America from a comparative and transnational perspective
