Lucas Proto Martínez Royo

Lucas Proto Martínez Royo is a journalist at El Confidencial specialising in geopolitics and international conflicts. He has been a special correspondent abroad on multiple occasions, editor-in-chief of the international section of the Mexican newspaper Reforma and has participated in the project “Decoding the mind of the European Parliament” in conjunction with the European Parliament. A graduate in Journalism from the Pontifical University of Salamanca and with a Master's degree in International Relations from the Autonomous University of Madrid, he is in the process of developing a doctoral thesis focused on European-level strategies to combat disinformation.
