Loredana Bertișan-Pop is a PhD candidate in Communication Sciences and international consultant on media affairs standards and media law. With two BA, one in Journalism and one in Law, and a MA in Media Management, her research focuses on independent journalism, media funding, media literacy, media ethics and media law. She was a news editor for five years, where she worked with a range of national and international media narratives, developing a solid sense of editorial intuition and a broad understanding of the news production. Her professional work is closely connected to educational and cultural projects that promote media literacy and digital citizenship, being Head of Operations of Bucovina Digital Media Days festival, a young creative industries festival in Romania.
