Justyna Ignaszak

Second European Conference on Disinformation and Fact-Checking | Conference speaker

Justyna Ignaszak is a PhD candidate at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, where she conducts research on the role of climate disinformation in shaping climate denialism and its impact on the effective implementation of climate policy. She is also a European Climate Pact Ambassador, working to raise awareness and foster dialogue on climate-related issues through education and community engagement.

Alongside her academic career, she works as a Program Execution Manager at TechSoup, overseeing the Digital Activism Program in over 20 countries across Central and Eastern Europe, West Africa, South Africa, and Latin America. In this role, she supports civil society organizations in building resilience to disinformation through education, digital tools, and international cooperation.

Justyna holds a master’s degree from the Wroclaw University of Economics and completed postgraduate studies at the Interuniversity Climate Academy (SGH, AGH, University of Wroclaw). She is especially interested in media literacy, civic engagement, tackling climate change, and polarization in the digital age.
