PhD in Media Research, Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M). She is associate professor in the Department of Communication (UC3M) and coordinator and professor of the Master's Degree in Transmedia Documentary and Journalistic Reporting. She has been co-director and professor of the Master's Degree in Digital Verification, Fact-Checking, and Data Journalism at CEU-San Pablo University, and lecturer on the Master's Degree in Creation and Management of Audiovisual Content and Master's Degree in Digital Journalism and Social Media at European University Madrid. She has published research articles on communication, media agenda, journalism, and disinformation in leading journals. She has participated as speaker at national and international conferences and participates as a researcher in the projects Pseudoscience, conspiracy theories, fake news, and media literacy in health communication (COMSALUD) and Organized Civil Society Initiatives for Media and Information Literacy (AMI).
As a journalist, she co-directed Los poderes de Lolo, documentary selected in San Sebastián Film Festival and broadcast on TVE, RTVE Play and Movistar+. She directed Supervivientes, selected in international festivals. She was executive producer and director of Todo cambia (TVE), creator and director of Dónde estabas entonces (La Sexta), director of 59 segundos (TVE) and deputy director of El Objetivo (La Sexta)."
