Guadalupe Aguado Guadalupe is an associate professor in the Department of Communication at the Carlos III University of Madrid. PhD in Information Sciences (Complutense University of Madrid). Member of the research group Journalism, Social Analysis, Effects and Trends (PASEET). Her lines of research are business models in the communication sector and the governance of media companies, with special attention to the regulatory framework, professional dynamics, audience metrics, and the advertising market. She has participated in competitive research projects at international, national, and regional levels. She has carried out research stays at the University of California-San Diego, Department of Communication; at the Universtité Pantheón-ASSAS/Paris II, Faculty of Law and Business, Institut Français de Presse; as well as at the University of Coimbra, Faculty of Letters, Institute of Journalism Studies. She is the author of several monographs: El mercado de la prensa portuguesa (Fiec, 2008), OJD y el control de la prensa en España (Ariel, 1996) y Retos de la televisión en Europa (Módulo Europeo Jean Monnet, 2005). She is co-author: Modelos de Negocio en el Ciberperiodismo (Fragua, 2005), Organización y gestión de empresas informativas (Síntesis, 2008), Periodismo emprendedor (McGraw-Hill,2014) y Empresa Periodística XXI (Síntesis, 2017).
