Gloria Rosique is a graduate in Information Sciences, Master in Audiovisual Business Management from the Carlos III University and Doctor with European Mention from the Complutense University of Madrid and the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3. She is a full professor in the Communication department of the U. Carlos III, she combines her teaching activity with management tasks. She is currently deputy director of Infrastructure and acts as coordinator of the TFM of the Master in Documentary and Transmedia Journalism Reporting in collaboration with RTVE, in which she has also been coordinator. She has also coordinated the Final Degree Projects in the area of Journalism at the U. Carlos III. He has participated in eight competitive I+D+I and I+D research projects at different universities (U. Jaume I, UAB and Uc3m). She has published more than 60 articles and book chapters in the main Spanish journals in the field of Communication Sciences. She currently has two six-year research periods granted. Her main lines of research are: oversight and citizen participation in the media and information treatment in audiovisual media. She has carried out pre- and postdoctoral stays at other universities (Université Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis, Université Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3 and at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana -UAM-X. México). She is co-founder of the first Network of Researchers in Community, Alternative and Participatory Communication -RICCAP-, and a member of the LOCALCOM research group of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She is an evaluator of competitive research projects for the National Evaluation and Prospective Agency (ANEP). At a professional level, she has collaborated in audiovisual companies in the areas of production and writing (Antena 3 TV, Channel 7, Estival TV, etc.), communication and marketing (IAVANTE, Ministry of Health of the Government of Andalusia), and as a researcher (ATEI, Association of Ibero-American Educational Televisions).
