Carlos Rodriguez

Carlos Rodriguez is a professor at the Faculty of Communication at the University of La Sabana (Colombia). Previously, he was a professor of Journalism at the Department of Journalism and Social Communication at the University of Ibagué (Colombia), where he taught Digital Journalism. He holds a PhD from the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain). He holds a degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from the Carlos III University of Madrid (Spain) and a Master's degree in Political Communication from the IUIOG-Madrid (Spain). His lines of research focus on online disinformation and fact-checking journalism. He has published several academic articles in relevant publishers, such as Wiley Books, and in journals, such as Media and Communication, Revista de Comunicación and Estudios sobre el Mensaje Periodístico, among others. He has been invited to give talks at some universities in Peru, Ecuador and Spain.
