Bella Palomo

Bella Palomo is Full Professor of Journalism Department and Dean of the School of Communication at the University of Malaga (Spain). Palomo has focused her line of research on digital journalism during the last three decades. She has been visiting scholar at the Universities of Washington, Rutgers, Miami (US), and Federal de Bahia (Brazil). She is leading the project “Journalistic applications of AI to mitigate disinformation: trends, uses and perceptions of professionals and audiences”. She is assessing fact-checking platforms for the EFCN
