Ayesh Abdelsalam Abu Taha (born June 1, 2002) is a Palestinian journalist and Master’s student in Political Journalism at the Institute of Press and Information Sciences in Tunis, Tunisia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Journalism from the same institute, where he developed a strong focus on transparency in the media and the verification of information.

Abu Taha has received professional training at the Tunis Africa Press Agency (TAP) and Radio IFM, where he worked as a news presenter and analyst on live programs, particularly covering the war in Gaza. He also completed a specialized training course in fact-checking, enhancing his skills in detecting disinformation and manipulated content.

In addition to his academic and professional experience, Abu Taha has created a mobile application and a radio segment dedicated to fact-checking as part of his graduation project. His work seeks to empower the public with tools to recognize false information, manipulated images, and fake identities.

His current research interests focus on media accountability, conflict reporting, and the impact of disinformation on public opinion. Abu Taha aims to continue contributing to the field of journalism by combining practical reporting with innovative approaches to media literacy and fact-checking
