Andreu Casero-Ripollés is Professor of Journalism and Dean of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at the Universitat Jaume I in Castelló. Previously, he was director of the Department of Communication Sciences (2016-2018) and vice-dean of the Bachelor's Degree in Journalism (2009-2016). He has developed an extensive scientific production that includes more than 80 articles in scientific journals, two monographic books, 50 book chapters, the edition of 8 collective books and the presentation of more than a hundred communications at conferences. He has participated in 14 research projects. In the period 2008-2021 he has directed, as principal investigator, a total of 10 projects in competitive calls. He has been coordinator of the Communication area (CSO panel) of the Spanish Research Agency (AEI) of the Spanish Government between 2016 and 2019. He has carried out research stays in some of the main international research centres: in 2015 at Columbia University (USA) and in 2014 at the Communication and Media Research Institute (CAMRI) of the University of Westminster (UK). In addition, he has also spent time at the Università degli Studi di Firenze (2019), the UNESP in Brazil (2010), the Universitè Paris 8 (2008) and the Università di Milano Bicocca (2006)
