
Adeline Ségui-Entraygues

Adeline Ségui-Entraygues is a lecturer in Information and Communication Sciences in the ITIC Information Documentation Department at the Université Paul Valéry Montpellier 3. She is attached to the LERASS laboratory (Laboratoire d'études et de recherches appliquées en sciences sociales), which brings together several disciplines.
She works on information culture, socio-technical systems and youth information practices. She is also interested in documentary teaching methods used in media and information education.
For almost ten years she was a librarian in the French education system, and is currently in charge of training future librarians in the Montpellier Academy. Her work lies at the interface between the field and research, between reflection on the transmission of a critical mind to young people and pedagogical practices relating to information. She is currently conducting research into young people's representations and practices of AI and social networks.
